Java management Extentions (JMX) are a set of specifications and development tools for managing and monitoring applications, services and system objects. The managed resources are represented by objects called MBeans (for Managed Beans) that follow the design patterns set forth in the JMX specification. The presentation will describe the Architecture of JMX and the various types of MBeans, and a practical example to demostrate the use of JMX.
